Unit 11 Meet Up - 30th November 2013

Well what can I say?

Yesterday was amazing!

We had our first meet up and got to meet most of the Scouts/Explorers/Leaders who will be going to Japan with us. We played a number of team building activities and a few energetic wide games. We also had to cook a Japanese meal, which went down well with some people but no others!

On top of that we got issued with our World Scout Jamboree UK Contingent Neckers which look amazing!

Can't wait to meet these guys again!

Unit 11 meetup

Well I am very excited about today because I get to meet up with the people that I'll be going to Japan with! We are currently called Unit 11 but that may change at a later  date. Today is going to be awesome!

Leaf Clearing - Thursday!

Yesterday I completed another leaf clearing job to help raise funds to go to Japan in 2015.  

John was very pleased with his back lawn being ridden of leaves!

Industrial Estate

Today a few other Chandlers Ford contingents and I are delivering letters to companies in the Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate. This is in aid of asking for a donation or a raffle prize!

1st Leaf Clearing Job

Just completed my first leaf clearing job! £10 in the pot!

Leaf Clearing

So today I'm off delivering leaflets to offer my services to clear up the leaves in people's gardens. By doing this I hope to raise part of the money needed to pay for my trip to the World Scout Jamboree!

Been making paracord bracelets to sell to family, friends and fellow scouts! They could save your life one day or you may just want one because they look cool!

Commitee

Tonight is the second committee meeting for those going on the World Scout Jamboree from Chandlers Ford.

Can't wait to share our fundraising efforts from the weekend just gone. We did a car boot sale at a local school selling sweets and drinks.

As well as the above I have been making Paracord Bracelets and selling them to fellow Scouts and Friends!
